The above sketches by Peter Dalton (Design Manager) illustrate several directions after research. To the left is a modular bag in which the bottom can detach and only be used when the rider needs it. To the right is a bag with the bottom being meant only for pizza.

Sketches illustrate where the rider would put money, receipts, cups and even sauces. We had a solution for everything.

After our team and Uber Eats agreed on three directions all bag designs were then modeled and branded for better visuals and understanding.

Our team then put detailed specification sheets on all three designs. These sheets went back and forth as Uber kept making edits on a daily basis.

After countless bag samples from China and cost finally becoming a factor Uber Eats requested a “simple” design with a premium look.
